Grammar LV1 — Introduction — Welcome to Grammar LV1
Welcome to Grammar LV1! This course is different from Lee English's other courses — it's grammar only, no story, no small talk. Each day gives you one grammar point (sometimes two closely related ones), a clear rule, and focused practice. It moves fast: about one point per day, 30 days to take you from zero to CEFR A2 level.
Because this course is built for Thai speakers, some days get extra attention. Thai verbs don't change form for tense the way English verbs do (no -ed, no -s), Thai has no word for 'a', 'an', or 'the', and Thai nouns don't need an -s to show more than one. These three gaps cause more English mistakes for Thai learners than almost anything else, so you'll see them explained slowly and practiced heavily, with a clear Thai-English comparison every time.
Ready? Let's start with the most useful verb in English: 'to be'.
