Grammar LV3 — Introduction — Welcome to Grammar LV3

Welcome to the final stage of the Grammar track. You've built the foundation in LV1 and the full sentence machinery in LV2 — passives, conditionals, reported speech, relative clauses. LV3 is different in kind, not just difficulty: there are far fewer brand-new rules left to learn. What's left is nuance — how fluent, native-like English signals emphasis, formality, caution, and precision through grammar choices most learners never notice consciously.

You'll meet inversion, cleft sentences, the subjunctive, nominalization, and hedging language — structures that appear constantly in news writing, academic papers, and confident spoken English, but that almost no textbook explains clearly. Expect more inductive lessons here: you'll often see the pattern in a real sentence before the rule is stated, because at this level, noticing comes before naming.
